From Berlin to Bordighera – The Red Club for Women on the Move
Michaela Mumm-von Oldenburg is one of those women who are not content to wait for old age and who want to make the world a better place through their work.
We are experiencing a renewed awareness of the value of very special moments due to the many crises in the world – not to mention in our private lives. We meet up with friends in restaurants, go to the theatre, concerts and the cinema. Or dance the night away at parties. Yes, we are enjoying the joy of life.
With the self-confidence that grows as we get older, the feeling of needing to shape a meaningful life/future also increases.
Age is relative and pigeonholing, unfortunately, is not over. If you really want to change something, do you need a date like the 1st of January or your 30th/40th or 50th birthday as an occasion? No! Create the Good Life! Just thinking about it puts you in a good mood.
Michaela Mumm-von Oldenburg is a lawyer and she knows the mechanisms of our society inside out. She recognised a shortcoming early on: the lack of opportunities for women to gain self-confidence, raise their voices and shape their lives according to their own ideas. This is why she, who lives in Berlin and Bordighera, founded the event agency friends2gether events and launched the Red Club. A club that accompanies women who are on the move and want to promote change.
But her work goes far beyond the Red Club. She is actively committed to the visibility and promotion of women in art, culture and business. With Female Art Week, she has launched an initiative that exclusively promotes female artists. Twice a year, she organises Female Art Week, a platform for talented women who are often overlooked in the art scene. Its aim is to give female artists more exposure and new opportunities – through exhibitions as well as targeted networking and support.
Actresses over 40 also face particular challenges, as they often lose visibility in the film and television industry. To set an example here, Michaela founded the Ageless Actresses platform, which opens up new opportunities for these women and connects them with important contacts in the industry.
She is also committed to women in management positions. With Female Bosses, a strong network of successful female entrepreneurs, she specifically promotes women who play a key role in the economy. Her aim is to make female leaders more visible, promote dialogue and establish mutual support in an often male-dominated business world.
The Red Club is more than just a network. It is a movement for change, inspiration and female strength. The members are women with visions and ambitions who not only network, but actively work towards a new future. Michaela’s projects bring together women who want to make a difference. They organise events that focus on exchange, knowledge transfer and empowerment. At the same time, they celebrate together – not just superficially, but with depth and the aim of creating new perspectives.
The boomer generation is very different from generations X, Y and Z, and so different values in society clash – including the potential for discussion. It helps to simply listen. Exchange breaks down prejudices – and that benefits everyone, regardless of age.
“We are an organisation that lives friendship, solidarity, empathy and tolerance,” says Michaela over a cappuccino. “We know that women can change the world and create a new and better future – that’s our mission. Women face many obstacles, from prejudice and stigmatisation to stereotypes. We wear red to become more visible and to get as much attention as possible. In doing so, we empower girls and women to support each other. We demonstrate that women can no longer be ignored or overlooked. This is the first step towards equality. Our club members live friendship, solidarity, empathy and tolerance. We strive for sustainable and long-term connections.”
“We have a vision,” Michaela continues, “we want to achieve positive change through new, creative approaches. The focus is on people, their development, their mental and emotional health and the preservation of an environment worth living in in many different ways. To this end, we organise events, get-togethers and talks to provide impetus and implement the knowledge gained, or simply wonderful dinners to celebrate the spring/summer/autumn/winter drop in a harmonious atmosphere. And what else goes well with such a dinner? That’s right – art!”
For her, art is an important element in opening up new perspectives and empowering women. “I have been able to win Marie-Theres Michel (www.lavisite.eu) for art and style talks as well as art tours, because we agree that art has the power to strengthen self-confidence. We exchange ideas with our guests and network in an exclusive setting on the Riviera – timeless and casual. Nature and culture with depth!”
Where do we want to go? Michaela still has big plans. Her commitment is an inspiration for transformation – with everyone on board and full of desire for the future.
The 2024 dinner at the Monaco Yacht Show in Monaco harbour was a festive, elegant and cheerful gathering. At the beginning of March this year, Michaela will dance at the Vienna Ball in Nice – classics are part of every event calendar. Would that be something for you too?

Michaela is looking forward to international guests and speakers and the exchange in many languages – a true Whitsun! Shall we get to know each other?
RED CLUB – A EUROPEAN NETWORK OF POWERFUL WOMEN IN RED
What began as the vision of a Berlin-based lawyer has evolved into one of Europe’s most compelling women’s networks: the RED CLUB is a vibrant space of connection, resonance and inspiration for brilliant, charismatic and visionary women across the continent. The common thread? A red dress – a symbol of visibility, sovereignty and solidarity.
Founded in 2019 by Michaela Mumm-von Oldenburg, the RED CLUB creates spaces where women meet as equals – with trust, depth and sincerity. It’s not about titles or image, but about real dialogue, mutual empowerment and meaningful exchange.
Its members? Entrepreneurs, artists, scientists, investors, journalists, creatives – women who shape, lead and inspire. They come together across borders, backgrounds and generations, united by a shared desire to grow, support and connect.
Events take place in Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Leipzig, Paris, London, Zurich – and of course, Monaco. From private dinners to curated art nights and discreet business salons, every gathering is defined by intelligence, elegance and authenticity.
The RED CLUB stands for a new kind of female leadership – independent, international and inclusive. On www.red-club.com, members are presented according to their membership type: Business, Premium or VIP.
And most importantly, diversity is not a slogan but a lived reality. Women of all nationalities, religions, ages and life paths come together here – because difference is not something to overcome, but something to celebrate.
And because true transformation does not happen in isolation, selected events – such as our annual summer garden party and festive winter dinner – are also open to men. We do not see them as adversaries, but as partners in shaping a more balanced, equitable world.
In Monaco, the RED CLUB has found a natural home – with elegant events that bring together women from across Europe, united in strength, visibility and solidarity.
A club with poise. And with purpose. Because when women connect, something greater emerges – not just a network, but a movement.
